Porqué nunca verás un cantante de pop feo?-Why you will never see an ugly pop singer?

ESTE ARTÍCULO NO TRATA DE OFENDER A NADIE, ESTÁ ESCRITO COMO UNA CRÍTICA HACIA LA CULTURA POP ACTUAL. POR FAVOR NO SE LO TOMEN COMO ALGO PERSONAL.

¿Por qué? ¿Por qué? ¿Qué ha pasado con los cantantes feos? Se los ha llevado una malvada fuerza del espacio exterior o han huido todos a Mordor. Esta incógnita señoritos y señoritas es casi inexplicable y, créenme, seguirá así por el resto de sus humanas y terrenales vidas (si no lo cambiamos).

Recientemente se han extinguido los cantantes feos poco agraciados/as y viejos (y de paso también los gordos), ahora todos son o guapos/as. No estoy hablando de Mozart ni de Queen, estoy hablando de la actualidad. Ahora es cuando os ofenderéis y en vuestras cabezas diréis: "-noooooo yo conozco a uno famoso que es feo, gordo y viejo" ya ya ya ya... pensemos en cantantes o grupos actuales:

Ahora revisemos una lista de éxitos musicales como puede ser The Hot 100 de Billboard:

Voy a parar porque me duelen la cara y los ojos de tanto llorar.

Después de ver tantos rostros y cuerpos bonitos vamos a pensar un poquito, ¿a qué género pertenecen todos estos cantantes? La respuesta es simple, al pop (sí, lo sé, Iggy rapea pero lo hace en canciones pop por lo tanto lo considero válido). Coincidiréis conmigo en que el pop es el género más escuchado actualmente. También coincidiréis conmigo que a todo el mundo le gusta lo bonito por naturaleza. Por lo tanto la gente pagará por ser fan de alguien bonito debido a lo cual hay dos opciones:

1- Coges a alguien que cante bien y lo "embelleces".

2- Coges a alguien guapo y lo haces cantar "bien".

Al fin y al cabo todo es una cuestión de marketing, de vender, se reduce a nuestra sociedad consumista (de la que hablaremos otro día).

...¿Pero quién soy yo para decir qué es bonito y qué es feo?¿quién son tu tío, tu profesor, tu mascota para decirlo?

- Si, señor del jersey azul?

- NADIE

Exacto, no soy nadie para decidir si algo el feo o bonito, la belleza es algo ambiguo, lo que es precioso para mí para tí puede ser un horror, en resumen, para gustos colores. 

El concepto de belleza también está bastante sobrevalorado puesto que es de las pocas cualidades del ser humano que se marchita con el tiempo se vuelve nada. ¿Qué valorarías más que te recordasen por lo listo/a que eras o por tu belleza?

- Si, señoritos aburridos?

- Nos gustaría que nos recordasen por lo listos que fuimos.

Antes de criticar a alguien por su exterior, busca en su interior- Lía Figueroa 

Muchas personas habréis escuchado la canción que os pondré a continuación pero ahora con la letra delante quiero que vayáis siguiendo cada una de las palabras, porque una de las guapuras de arriba decidió hacer una canción que me va a servir como cierre de esta charla, eso es todo muchas gracias de corazón:

Why? Why? What has happened with the ugly singers? An evil force from outer space has led them or they have fled to Mordor . This question, gentlemen and ladies, it's almost inexplicable and, believe me, this will remain so for the rest of your earthly and human lives (if we do not change it).

Recently, old and ugly singers have become extinct (and also fat people), now they are all handsome. I am not speaking of Mozart or Queen, I'm talking about today. Now is when you take offence, and in your heads you'll say: "-nooooo I know one famous pop singer who is ugly, fat and old" hahahahaha... think about singers or groups today:

After seeing so many faces and beautiful bodies, we are going to think a little bit, what gender are all these singers? The answer is simple, to pop (yes, I know, Iggy raps but does in pop songs therefore consider it valid). Agree with me that the pop genre is the most currently played. You also agree with me that everyone likes beauty by nature. So people pay for being a fan of someone nice due to which there are two options:

1- You take someone who sing well and make it handsome.

2- You take someone handsome and make him sing well.

Finally and after all is a matter of marketing, selling, boils down to our consumer society (which we'll talk about another day).

... But who am I to say what is beautiful and what is ugly? who are your uncle, your teacher, your pet to say it?

-Yes, lord of the blue shirt?

-NO ONE

The concept of beauty is also pretty overrated, because is the few qualities of human beings that wilt, with time it becomes nothing. What do you appreciate more that you'll be remember for how inteligent you were or for your beauty?

-Yes, boring misses?

-We would like they remember us by how inteligent we were.
